The process.

The initial session gives space for you to be able to explain what has been going on to have brought you to counselling .. It helps build our relationship and provides a starting point for our work together.

You are able to have as few or many sessions as you feel are required, and this can be reviewed. Some people work things out within a few sessions, whilst others choose to work long term.

Client's decide how often they wish to have a session, this can be weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

Yes, you can take breaks and then return to counselling when it suits you.

Therapy may involve deeper exploration of underlying patterns or past experiences and is often used for more complex or ongoing difficulties. The most important factor is working with a qualified professional who is the right fit for your needs.
